My first job after leaving University was as receptionist for national film agency, Scottish Screen.

After another rambling staff email, the Head of Communications challenged me to focus instead on writing a column for monthly film magazine, Roughcuts.

The magazine was published by Scottish Screen and had a circulation of 2,500. I wrote my column from September 2003 - September 2005.
