Honda asked us to help us sell more of their special Civic X Limited Edition vehicles in Europe. Due to it being slightly older, the X edition is the same price as the regular Civic, but includes more special features.

 

We decided to make a short film about an esteemed mathematician who is being driven to distraction by the vehicle's cost. He tries in vain to use algebra to discover the Value of X. 'How can the Civic X offer more, but be the same price? It doesn't add up..'

 

Our mathematician eventually realises that he can only discover the true Value of X when he gets behind the wheel.
